greenberries is my childhood dream come true! Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to run a business of my own and open a store. I had always envisioned a home furnishings store – lamps, mirrors, frames, clocks, and other random tchachkes. I even wrote my first business plan way back in grad school in 1996. After 18 years working in Human Resources and Recruiting, I eagerly awaited a break from the corporate world. Our kids came along in 2005 and 2008, and I discovered the world of consignment and thrift! Brand name clothing for less - much less! So one of my friends suggested I couple my entrepreneurial spirit with my passion for consignment, and to open my own store. Of course! We are so thrilled to be able to provide a place for Howard County residents to find lovely, nearly new, unique children’s and maternity wear, for a fraction of retail.
